Thank you for your interest in working together. I am a licensed landscape architect with over ten years of experience shaping distinctive outdoor environments throughout the New Orleans area. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of place, craft, and long-term livability. I look forward to learning your goals and translating them into a landscape that feels both timeless and uniquely yours.
Process
Initial Consultation
To begin, I meet with clients on-site to gain a comprehensive understanding of the property and its context. After discussing your goals for the space, I prepare a detailed design fee proposal outlining the recommended scope of services. This proposal is typically delivered within one week of the initial consultation.
Design Process
The design process begins with Schematic Design, establishing the overall vision for the landscape, including hardscape, planting, and all major site elements. This phase defines the design intent and spatial organization of the project. I work closely with clients to refine the schematics until the direction is fully resolved.
Once the schematic design is approved, construction documents are developed to translate the design into a buildable set of drawings. These documents ensure the project is executed to its full intent and typically include planting plans, details, and coordination of irrigation, drainage, and lighting systems.
Construction Administration
Additional Service
Following completion of the design package, I can provide construction coordination in collaboration with a trusted network of contractors with whom I have an established working relationship. This helps ensure the project is executed in alignment with the design intent.
Clients may also choose to take the completed drawings to a contractor of their selection for implementation.

Andrew Kepper, PLA
Owner + Principal
Andrew Kepper is a licensed landscape architect born and raised in New Orleans. His early connection to the region’s landscapes and gardens was shaped through years spent outdoors and guided by generations of family who understood what makes New Orleans gardens both resilient and distinctive.
Andrew earned his degree in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and went on to spend over a decade working alongside one of New Orleans’ premier landscape architects. During this time, he developed extensive experience across residential, commercial, and civil projects before establishing his own practice.
His work now focuses primarily on residential landscapes, including gardens, pools, and outdoor living environments. Andrew approaches each project with an emphasis on long-term livability, thoughtful detailing, and a respect for the unique ecological conditions of South Louisiana. His designs seek to balance classic Southern landscape traditions with the expectations of contemporary living.
Client relationships are central to his practice, and each project is approached as a collaborative effort—resulting in outdoor spaces that feel both intentional and enduring.
